BHP Chartered Accountants joined forces with International Trade Forum in 2011.
BHP is dedicated to helping local businesses when trading overseas through its specialist knowledge and international connections. BHP is a member of Kreston International, a global network of independent accounting firms, covering over 100 countries and providing access to over 20,000 staff worldwide.
Lisa Leighton, Partner at BHP said “Following the Government’s recent announcement that it will increase support to medium-sized businesses trying to export, many are recognising the benefits of selling overseas, and with the right support they can target new customers from around the globe.”
William Beckett, Chair of ITF, said “BHP is an important strategic partner. This alliance adds real value to the Forum for the benefit of our members. Like ITF, BHP is an independent organisation, showing a strong commitment to supporting companies growing through international trade.”
ITF encourages international trade in order to benefit the UK economy at large. It is business led by Directors that are experienced in exporting and importing as well as dealing with multiple markets. Members of SYITF have access to networking events, advice, information and guidance from some of the region’s leading exporters, as well as now being able to work with advisors like BHP that have strong links with accountants around the world.
The Manufacturing Forum is an initiative of the Chambers of Commerce of Sheffield, Doncaster and Barnsley & Rotherham, The Company of Cutlers, Made in Sheffield and Make UK. It is managed by The Company of Cutlers of Hallamshire, the Voice of Manufacturing Sheffield & South Yorkshire.
